The Advanced Standing Program is a voluntary program. The Health Care Association of NJ Foundation collaborated with the Department of Health to establish guidelines for the program. In order to receive this distinction a community must comply with all applicable local, state & federal regulations. They also have to submit monthly data that reaches benchmarks established by a Peer Review Panel. In addition a community must use a disclosure statement outlining the services offered at the community. Once all these measures are met the Department of Health will make the final determination on granting a community the distinction of Advanced Standing Status. The Heath Care Association of NJ Foundation hires staff to perform annual compliance visits to ensure all NJ regulations are met. The Fountains at Cedar Parke has achieved Advanced Status for the last 4 years!
